Poached Eggs in Cream (Enjoy)!
For 4 servings

Ingredients For: Poached Eggs in Creme
4 eggs
1 TBSP Butter
4 Cups of creme
seasonings:
salt, pepper, chives, basil, bacon, cheese or any other herb or vegetables you like. Roasted red belle pepper and a sprig of Basil are shown in this recipe with a bit of Parmesan cheese grated on top.
Preparation
- Butter the ramekins.
- Lightly Salt and Pepper the bottom of the ramekins.
- Break eggs into ramekins gently without breaking the yolks.
Baking
Prepare the water bath:
- Place a sheet of parchment paper or moist paper towel
on a plate in the water bath.
BAIN-MARIE
A large pan that is filled with hot water; smaller pans containing food can be set in the larger pan to keep food warm or to cook food slowly
-Place the ramekins in the pot, fill with boiling water till it comes halfway up the side of the ramekins.
Cook at 320 degrees until the whites start to set.
- While the eggs are cooking, reduce the creme to 1/3 in a pot.
Add a little salt.
- Pour the creme on the white part of the eggs.
You can serve the dish with toasted bread slices.
